i've been busy with maple, tuition and school lately, so i haven't gotten much time left to blog.

go on, laugh at me. i know i told my gaming friends that i wouldn't touch maple for peanuts, but then again my sister downloaded the game and started whacking snails and shrooms right under my nose. so naturally, i couldn't resist the temptation and started my own account. i even got dar hooked on maple, muahahaha :P

the interview letter stated that i would receive the interview outcome results in 15 working days, and truly enough, they made me wait 15 full days before my appointment letter finally came. *slaps head*

so the verdict's out, and i've been selected for appointment as a GEO 1.2 (untrained) on a 1 - 1.5 year contract. which basically means contract teaching for geography and/or english. i'll only be posted to nie after the contract, subject to work performance.

this also means that i'll be officially employed by moe come 19th jan.

gee. i'm soon-to-be employed. i have a job.

but..

i can't say i'm particularly happy with this appointment, i've been wanting so hard to go into nie with nitz and share a room together.

and starting as an untrained teacher kinda scares me. there are 12 maximum students in each of my tuition classes, now i have to face 40. then i haven't really taught geography on a classroom scale too.. *shudders*

on the brighter side, there will be a possibility that i may enter nie in the same batch as dar =D meanwhile, i shall just cross my fingers and pray hehe.

i don't know.

i feel funny. working life, starting so soon.

i'm back from dar's chalet! =D

had fun drinking with the guys, it was quite funny seeing dar, danial and ravin conspiring to get mark and ben drunk. we had export strength vodka, black cat bourbon, sprite/coke mixers and carlsbergs, which was quite an amount of booze for our small party. then for entertainment, there were cards, uno, danial's ps2 and not forgetting paulie's muscle show, teehee. poor ee-laine was teased mercilessly, and poor mark got the worst of the lot, i think he puked til he had no guts left, lol ;p

bad dar drank a lot and concussed pretty soon after the party ended so i was left stuck with the still sober ravin and non-drinker danial. don't know why but the two of them kept giggling behind me >.< i retired to bed after watching the re-run of desperate housewives. next morning, they were still giggling behind me. argh >.<~

but my fieldstudies mates made it very memorable for me. ahseng papa, jacq, zhiliang, elaine, jolin, esther, jiajie, gabriel, hongyi and kenny surprised me and bee sikh at the candle-filled basketball court where they held a surprise party for us =) also got ww's surprise which was secretly and gratefully bornt by jacq, it was tender moment, though never to have again. then in the afternoon, after lecture, my m'sian group-mates surprised me with another cake. i got a birthday hug from my favourite lecturer prof peggy teo =)

being a better daughter to my parents.
