my blog is almost dead.

i'm too busy with work to update regularly and i don't want the kids to accidentally stumble across my blog and read my musings.

i want to keep the url though, so this almost-dead blog page will continue to float around in cyberspace =)

working is not-so-fun indeed.

i'm teaching geography and english at b0wen secondary now, and i must say that it has really been a blessing to have a very supportive mentor as well as other helpful colleagues. the kids are naughty, but i guess they are generally an appreciative lot who are motivated enough to study for examinations. i've heard various traumatic experiences of fellow contract teachers during the teacher preparatory training programme and i thank God that mine weren't half as bad. my timetable is pretty slack, compared to friends like xiaoyun. i get a nice personal desk, unlike the nie trainees who have to share desks in the i-room. i get to share teaching resources with other teachers in my department so i don't really have to come up with my own sios or ppt slides. i even get the chance to set internal examination papers to gain more exposure. i'm a lucky girl =)

i'm just going to put up my convocation photos and go to bed =)
(boy, teachers do have to wake up bloody early)

i hate pictures with jacq, she makes me look really short. dearest buddy, we've been doing geography together since jc year 1, congrats on merit in your BA =) all the best, i think hdb is a really nice place to work at!
