do you know that the whiteboards in singapore schools are actually tilted slightly at about 85 degrees? it is to prevent reflection of the ceiling lights and minimise glaring.

i met dear joanna and nitz yesterday night at holland village for dinner at thai express. the fried-glass-noodles-with-chicken thing that jo ate was really good! then we popped over to essential brews to chill out and have dessert.

i tell you, i'll never visit that place again.

nitz's vodka lime had almost no vodka at all. okay, maybe the restaurant was stingy with their alcohol. i had ordered a cookie mookie shake, some oreo ice-blend shake thing that you can find in most restaurants. i also had confidently announced to jo and nitz that nothing could really go wrong with my drink. jo took the first sip and kept quiet, nitz took the next and said that something could really go wrong indeed. it was the worst oreo shake ever, being extremely diluted and all. so much for my $6.25.

anyways, nitz shared about the langauge boo boos made by her micro-teaching classmates, like:

teacher: "okay class, we have a small little problem ..."
so the use of synonyms was for emphasis...? hehe

teacher: "students, please raise up your hands if you know the answers"
lol. *pictures kids raising up their hands muahahah*

so i have finally injected some form of life back into my blog.

the banner is not ready yet, im too tired to continue anymore for the night because ict class is at 8.30am tomorrow morning.

this is revamp version 5, a very simple layout in basic colours of pink and white. the original designer had released it for wordpress, but i've altered the codes slightly to suit blogspot. the theme for version 5 shall be cute-ness so as to reflect the cosy room in hall 15 which xiaoyun and i share =)

hope i have time to update more regularly. micro-teaching will start next week and the individual assignments for ict and ed pysch 1 are due soon =( plus it doesn't help that certain individuals in nie are in muggeration mode.

i think we all prefer teaching than studying :P
